Thyristor, transistorized converters with digital display (TDC) for cathodic protection systems for ships and floating structures are certified by the Russian Marine Register of Navigation.

Transistor digital converters are part of cathodic protection system that ensure rust protection of hull underwater sections of vessels intended for unrestricted navigation (incl. ice-breaking), as well as protection of hull underwater sections of floating power stations, oil and gas platforms and other floating structures by means of stepped-down-voltage direct current with its automatic regulation according to present hull protection potential.
