Russian Institute for Power Radioengineering participated in preparing and opening of the exhibition “Military communications: history and new challenges” 

The grand opening took place in the A.S. Popov Central Museum of Communications. The exhibition is dedicated to 100th anniversary of Russian Signal Troops. Visitors are introduced to the signal troops’ history and learn about technology used nowadays.

The main partners of the exhibition are Russian Institute for Power Radioengineering, Military History Museum of Artillery, Engineers and Signal Corps and Budyonny Military Academy of the Signal Corps. The last one celebrates its 100th anniversary.

V. Gorlatov, the curator of our museum, spoke about the company and prospects awaiting highly skilled professionals that develop military communication equipment.

At the exhibition, you can find rare photos from the collection of Budyonny Military Academy which reflect various periods of signal troops’ history and development of radio communication equipment. The most impressive showpiece was the command vehicle R-142N owned by Budyonny Military Academy of the Signal Corps. Our company is participating with cutting-edge communication equipment.

            

The exhibition lasts from 30 October to 27 November, 2019.
